WHAT HOOKS AND SIZE ARE BEST FOR BEAD FISHING KINGS?

My favorite hook to use for bead fishing Kings is the Gamakatsu Octopus size 1/0 to 3/0.

Bead size - Hook size
12mm - 1/0
14mm - 2/0
16mm - 2/0-3/0

Kings are big. Beads are big. Hooks need to be big. When a salmon enters the river system, their bodies are gradually decomposing, making their lips softer. It’s best to up-size the hook for a better hook-set.
